Scene continuity and consistent characters
Keep the same characters in every clip, carry one scene straight into the next, or move the story somewhere new with a planned transition.
Studio Motion Studio Motion only
A movie falls apart if the hero changes clothes between shots or a scene jumps for no reason. Studio Motion gives you control over both: who stays the same, and how each scene leads into the next.
Consistent characters
The story anchor you attach when planning, often a child’s sketch, carries its reviewed details into every scene. Each page’s picture becomes the starting frame for its clip, so the same faces, clothes, and colours appear in every shot. Speaker descriptions such as “Leo, the young son in a green T-shirt” keep the right character talking. In The Vegetable Problem, four scenes start from one kitchen picture.

Continue the previous scene
On the next page, open Create AI video and choose Continue previous scene. The previous page’s final moment becomes this clip’s starting frame, so the action picks up exactly where it left off. You can adjust the frame or disconnect it, then choose Generate next scene.

Change scene on purpose
Not every page should pick up where the last one ended. To move the story somewhere new, use the frames to steer the clip:
- Animate an image: start from a picture and describe what happens next.
- End on an image: guide the clip towards a chosen final frame, such as the next page’s artwork.
- Connect two frames: set both the opening and the ending composition, and the clip moves between them.
In a planned movie, every page also has a transition and an ending frame, and a whole-movie run can use neighbouring page pictures as start and end frames so each clip hands over cleanly to the next.

Tips
- Make sure the starting frame, the planned action, and the ending composition agree with each other.
- Keep one character’s description identical wherever they appear.
- Replay a clip next to its neighbours before accepting it.
