1. Open a page and choose Create AI video

AI video is available with Studio Motion in the current beta. You can animate a page picture or generate a replacement for an existing clip.

2. Choose the frames and motion

Use a start image, an end image, or both. Continue previous scene can use the previous page’s artwork or a frame near the end of its video. Check the selected images before continuing: the pictures must support the action you describe.

Describe one clear beat, such as “The father raises an eyebrow while his son looks up from the empty plate.” Check camera direction and end composition when those fields are available. The current route does not generate from text alone.

3. Set the sound

Open Sound in this scene. Choose a visible character speaking, an off-screen video narrator, or narration added separately. Put only the words to be spoken in Exact words. Put appearance and voice instructions in their own controls. Choose ambience, a music direction, or a silent background.

Character dialogue and voice consistency explains how to reduce mixed-up speakers.

4. Choose duration and shape

Use 5 seconds (25 credits) for a short action or line, or 10 seconds (50 credits) for more room. Choose a supported portrait 9:16 or landscape 16:9 video. Read the speech pacing hint and shorten dialogue that will not fit.

The generation button stays at the bottom of the screen and shows the charge. Review the frames and settings, then confirm. Accepted jobs continue on the server if you close the app; a queue can add waiting time.

5. Review before changing the page

Watch the whole clip with sound and open Generation details to inspect the saved settings and submitted request when available.

  • Use on page accepts the candidate onto this page.
  • Keep current version leaves the existing page unchanged. The new clip stays in Library, so you can return to it later.
  • Edit and try again returns to the generation settings for a revised request. The new generation has its own credit cost.

A manual replacement does not replace the old page video until you accept it. A whole-movie run attaches results to the pages you approved for that run; see generate a whole video book.

If generation fails

Failed, refused, or empty outputs return reserved credits automatically. Retrying delivery of the same request ID does not reserve the charge twice. Choosing to generate a new variation is a new paid request.
