  1. Open the picture in the editor

Tap a picture on a page, or open it from the Library, and choose Edit. Everything in this editor runs on your device.
  2. Pick a look

Original, Warm, Storybook, or Clean B&W. Looks are a one-tap starting point; you can still adjust afterwards.

Tip. Storybook is the one to try when a photo needs to sit next to drawn illustrations without clashing.

  3. Fine-tune with one slider at a time

Light, contrast, colour, and warmth. The editor deliberately shows one slider at a time so the preview stays large — small changes to two or three of these do more than a big change to one.
  4. Save

Your edit is stored as a recipe plus a derived file. The imported original stays untouched in the project.

What is and isn’t in the current editor

Crop and position is available from the page editor’s Media menu and on the cover editor — drag to reposition, pinch or zoom to crop into the page’s shape. Video trimming has its own screen with a visual timeline and start and end points.

Rotate, straighten, video playback speed, and audio trimming and fades are not available yet. For page videos you can include or mute their sound and set the volume. For narration and story music you can preview, replace, remove, and set levels; see narration and music.

None of this costs anything

No credits, no subscription, no account, no network. If you are offline, the editor works exactly the same. This is deliberate — basic editing is a normal phone operation and we do not think it should be behind a paywall.
