Plan a storybook with AI
Turn an outline and your child's drawing into an editable storybook plan: the words, the artwork idea, and the layout for every page.
Studio Plus Studio Plus and Studio Motion
1. Describe the book you want
Start a new project, choose a theme and layout, and select Plan with AI. Give it a title and a short premise: the characters’ names and roles, what happens, and how the story ends.
For example: “Sam and her small purple dragon Pip use a star lantern to help a sleepy blue bird find its nest.”

2. Add a story anchor
Choose one drawing or reference picture and review the visible details the app finds in it. Correct names and visual details before continuing. The reviewed description guides the plan and the recurring visual details, which is how the characters stay consistent from page to page. The planning request uses that description as text alongside the outline; the reference image itself can separately guide the artwork.

3. Set the story and visual style
Choose a reader age, 6, 10, or 14 pages, and a feel such as Cozy, Funny, or Adventurous. Choose a style such as Soft picture-book watercolor, Cut-paper collage, Warm crayon texture, or Cinematic 3D. Library suggestions can help reuse pictures you already have.
4. Review every page
Check the page text, the artwork idea, and the layout for each page. Describe each character the same way wherever they appear, and keep visible details, such as clothes and colours, in the artwork idea.

5. Save the draft and choose what to generate
Planning costs 5 credits. Suggested image descriptions normally cost 1 credit; generated artwork costs extra. Review the actual quote in the app. You can generate individual pages or the whole storybook in one run. Editing the plan and local project is free.
